Booki vs PayPerHead.com: A Full Agent Shop vs a Ledger
PayPerHead.com does not print a dollar rate on its homepage. It sells Core and Advanced packages and routes you to a pricing calculator. The regular prices it publishes elsewhere on its own site are $10 per head for 1–9 players and $8 per head for 10–99. At the 10–99 tier, twenty active players is about $693 a month, or $8,320 a year. Booki Pro is $49.99 a month for up to 50 members — $599.88 a year.
Note this is PayPerHead.com, not Price Per Player. Different company, different rate card, frequently confused.
Who should stay on PayPerHead.com
Stay if you are running a book as a business and need the agent stack. PayPerHead.com has been at this 20+ years and sells to agents rather than bettors — they are explicit that they are a software company, not a sportsbook. The package includes a branded player site, a casino add-on, 24/7 support, a player migration program, and Pay & Collect Online for taking and settling money by card, crypto or transfer.
That last one is the real dividing line. If you want the software to move money, Booki is the wrong tool and will stay the wrong tool — it is a deliberate product decision, not a missing feature.
Past 100 players their pricing is "contact us." If you are at that scale, this comparison is not for you.
Who should switch to Booki
Switch if you organize for roughly 8 to 50 known members, you already collect and pay outside any platform, and the branded site and cashier flow go unused. Paying $8 a head for a shop you do not run is the specific thing this page is about.
Booki is pick-tracking and bankroll management software. Be The House. Not a sportsbook, not a pay-per-head service. It does not process payments or hold funds. Live odds, automated grading for moneylines, spreads, totals and parlays (futures are graded manually), credit and win limits, settlement reconciliation, a tamper-evident ledger, member invites, and a web app that works in a mobile browser. Cap: 50 members. No casino, racebook, call center, or branded sportsbook website.
If you needed the house, stay. If you needed a ledger, you are overpaying.
Feature and price comparison
Monthly figures use 4.33 weeks and assume every player is active. Most PPH services bill only players who wagered that week. The 1–9 row is priced at their $10 tier and everything above it at the $8 tier, which is how their own published rate card is structured.

Rates are the regular prices PayPerHead.com publishes on its own site, checked 26 August 2026. Promotional rates appear seasonally — a March Madness page advertised $5 and $4 against those same regular prices — but a promo is not the rate you renew at, so this table uses the regular figures. How to switch
You are not importing a sportsbook. You are copying balances. Historical tickets stay in the old system.
- Pull a current balance report. Close or grade anything still pending if you want one system of record going forward.
- Start Booki Pro and send member invites. Members create their own accounts from the link or code.
- Post opening balances so the new ledger starts where the old one stopped. Do this once, with agreement.
- Set credit limits and win limits. New picks go on Booki against live odds and grade automatically.
- Keep paying each other the same way you do now. Record settle-ups in Booki. The software never moves money.
Start Pro at $49.99/month
If the cashier is the reason you are there, stay — that is a real feature and Booki will never have it. If it is not, you are paying per head for a branded site nobody visits. Start Pro for $49.99/month.
